Long-term scenarios for a Swedish Green Economy

Commission on the Future of Sweden - Stockholm Environmental Institute

The Framtidskommissionen (Commission on the Future of Sweden) was established by the Swedish Government in 2012 and is chaired by Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt. The aim of the Commission is to identify future societal challenges the country may face, which in turn will give a foundation for the Swedish Government to prepare long-term strategies and policies.

This particular project wants to discuss and develop scenarios for how Sweden can move towards a green economy in the next decades. The project is led by the Swedish Environmental Institute in cooperation with the Swedish Defense Research Agency and with participation of the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis. The project is scheduled to run from spring to fall 2012 and will be capped by the publication of a concluding memorandum.

In this futures project shiftN acts as process designer and facilitator and is part of the core team.
