Some recent talks

On 18 December 2015, the Flemish Environment Agency (VLM), ARGUS and The Shift (not shiftN) organised a one-day conference: Megatrends: how to tackle them for a sustainable and resilient Flanders. shiftN researched and wrote the original VLM Megatrends report. Philippe Vandenbroeck was invited to the conference as an expert in the Spatial Management track. The conference report (in Dutch) is available for download.

On 5 February 2016, shiftN gave a presentation Reality and Lessons. Orchestrating Mass Movements of Communities in Europe at a Symposium of CO2 Technology Assessment, in Tokyo, Japan. The Symposium was organised by the University of Tokyo and Hakuhodo, a Japanese media company, at the request of the Japanese Ministry of Environment.

On 11 April, shiftN’s Jo Goossens gave a keynote speech at the Danone-Nutricia Medical R&D Conference on Business Development Opportunities for Personalized Nutrition.

On 2 May 2016, Philippe Vandenbroeck talked about Culture and Competences for Futures Thinking for a newly formed peer group of the Etion, a network for values-driven entrepreneurship.
