“Anticipating threats in a connected world”

The Global Futures Forum convened its 2008 General Meeting in the beautiful city of Vancouver. For four days, from 13 to 16 April, three hundred intelligence, national security, law enforcement and non-governmental experts engaged in strategic (unclassified) conversations on transnational threats in a connected world. The overall facilitation of this successful event was in the hands of shiftN.February 2008 – shiftN has started to work with the Dutch telecom operator KPN. In collaboration with Prof. H.A. Akkermans from Tilburg University – a supply chain dynamics expert - systems modelling and mapping tools are used to diagnose one of its key divisions’ business processes.
